Pied Pipurr Ragdolls
Established 1999, Mount Holly, NJ
Relocated 2004, Raleigh, NC
My interest in Ragdolls began in 1996 when I attended my first
cat show. I didn't know what cat shows were all about and I
wandered around aimlessly admiring the different cats in what
I was to learn were benching cages. I was drawn to one cat that
was the most magnificent creature I had ever seen. I was soon
to find out it was a Ragdoll. There were two Ragdoll breeders
there that day that I spoke with and I was instantly hooked.
I came home to sit in front of my brand new computer and I tried
to figure out how to use it to research the breed. Here I was
a newbie to a breed of cat and the Internet.
I searched and researched and soon I was learning more about
Ragdolls. I just had to have one. In the summer of 1997 I got
my first kitten, a seal bi-color named Beau who was an alter
that I was going to try the show circuit with. Beau and I had
lots of fun going to shows and meeting new friends.
I soon learned that one Ragdoll is not enough. The following
spring, Frazier, a blue bi-color, came to me as my second show
alter. MTN-Top Frazier Furr was ACFA's 1998-1999 Best Ragdoll
Alter.
By now you can guess what the next step was. I began thinking
about starting my own breeding program. This is where Pied Pipurr
Ragdolls began. Since that time, my cattery has welcomed a diverse
group of colors and patterns from different catteries around
the country. We now regularly have 8 to 10 litters a year. In
addition to pet quality kittens, we occassionally have show/breeder
quality cats available for placement.
My goal is to continue breeding loving Ragdolls of exceptional
size, personality and the best health. I am fortunate enough
to work from home and, therefore, can give my cats and kittens
plenty of love and attention.
Pied Pipurr Ragdoll cats can be registered with ACFA, TICA,
and CFA. I am a member of
Ragdoll Fanciers Club International (RFCI).
Pied Pipurr Ragdolls is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
